CITY OF PARIS RESEARCH GRANT PROGRAMME 2010
Research in Paris supports researchers from abroad to come and work in Parisian laboratories.This scheme aims to further enhance the appeal of Paris’ scientific side by fostering exchanges on a global scale and researchers’ mobility.It plays a pivotal part in ensuring that Parisian Research flourishes and it enables laboratories and research centres to develop and strengthen cooperation programmes with research centres in major international cities.
Postdoctoral researchers are granted €2,500 per month over a period varying from 3 to 12 months. Senior researchers are granted €3,000 per month over a period varying from 2 to 6 months.ities. Grants include travel and other expenses.

Applications for the EIFFEL Scholarships at the Master and Phd Level (10months maximum within the framework of a double Phd or co-direction of thesis in partnership with a foreign institution. are currently being accepted.
Please note that host institutions have to apply on behalf of their students.
Priority fields of study at the Master level are engineering, the sciences, economics and management, political sciences.

NEW SDCC AIT-France Network call for proposals for project and doctoral research NEW
The regional program “SDCC / Asian Institute of Technology – France Network” call for proposals is targeting young researchers interested in new collaborative projects on the general theme of “sustainable development and climate change”, with a focus on the development of the ASEAN region using multidisciplinary approaches. The objective is to identify high-quality proposals for leading-edge research projects between research teams from AIT, France and ASEAN based institutions, particularly in the six thematic research areas identified by AIT for its new Center of Excellence on Sustainable Development in the context of Climate Change.
The scholarships awarded will enable students to finance part of their stays in France and eventually in the other partner countries. Co-financing is expected from AIT and the partners involved.
Under the general theme of “sustainable development and climate change”, the following subthemes are encouraged:
Agriculture, Land Use and Forestry, Cleaner Production and Waste Refineries, Low Carbon Society and Renewable Technology, Urban and Rural Sustainability, Vulnerability and Disaster Risk Reduction, Water resources and coastal adaptation. Other areas under the general theme of “sustainable development and climate change” will also be considered, if the proposals fulfill criteria of excellency.

For the call for proposals of the regional program “SDCC / AIT – France Network”
Number, nature and eligibility of partners:
Each project will associate a research team from AIT to at least one research team from a French institution and at least one research team from another ASEAN institution. The additional participation of universities and research institutes from other Asian countries (China, India, Japan, Korea, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Taiwan), and of the private sector is greatly encouraged. Priority is given to multidisciplinary teams and young researchers.
