An international joint laboratory has been founded by the CEA, the CNRS and the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre. The Indo French Nuclear Physics IJL follows the first agreement between GANIL (CNRS-CEA) and BARC signed during the state visit in 2008. The creation of the IJL will enable tthe pursuit of existing Indo French cooperation in nuclear physics and initiate a collaboration agreement for the project on the second generation radioactive ion beam production system, SPIRAL2. |
